What Is The Key To Being Wealthy?
Studies show that wealth has nothing to do with luck, education or intelligence. But favor does have an important role in your becoming wealthy. There are a set of lined out principles in which one is to follow in order to achieve their God given ordained wealth. It lies in the ability that once given, you do not forget who caused it to come to fruition in your life, and the simple fact that wealthy people understand the principles of accumulating wealth and how to put them into effect.
Become Wealthy By Following These 5 Lessons
Your life will change and you will become wealthy, if you adopt these 5 lessons. They are simple; yet, they require your commitment and a change in how you presently deal with money. It requires a change in your thought pattern, as a man thinketh so is he. You have to change the way you think and view your life, your future in order to see the change you see.
Lesson 1: Choose Today To Be Wealthy
Choose today whether to stay the way you are or make a radical change. Make a decision today to be wealthy. Write down this goal, write down all your goals, both physical and financial, and either pin it on your board or carry the paper with you at all times. Take a look at your goal every day: Make the affirmation every that TODAY I DECIDE TO BE WEALTHY. Choose an accountability person, this is where your spiritual/life coach comes into reality, let her know your goal, put it in writing.
A conscious intelliegent, achievable decision to make a choice is the first step of your journey. The moment you make a decision your consciousness will automatically start working on the solution to create that reality.
Lesson 2: Be Responsibility For The Money You create
As anything in life, what you don't control, controls you, So, if you can't control your money, your money will control you! Controlling your money simply means that you need to know how much money you have, where you spend it and where it comes from. Take a piece of paper and write these three items down as precisely as possible. Make this list as detailed as you can. Get a feeling of what your money is doing. The entire point of this exercise is to make your money work for you (you control your money)—and not the opposite (your money controls you). 1. Do you need it, 2. Can you do without it, 3. Can you afford it?
Lesson3: Keep A Portion of Everything You Earn
Wealthy people pay themselves first, Spiritually minded people pay God first, then themselves and then they pay the bills! You hear stories about people going bankrupt or having to take a "job". What happened? They obviously never saved a portion of their income and put it aside. If they had, they would still be wealthy. But, one thing about wealthy people who have lost it all, they know what it takes to get it the first time, and can reapply those same principles and come back again.
I like to talk about the 10-10-80 rule. Take at least 10% of your income every month and pay your tithes, or donate 10% to a church or ministry that is planted in good soil, Then, put 10% aside for your own savings. Never ever touch this money for anything other than for investment purposed to make this money work for you. Don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. Live off the 80%, if your bills and extras go beyond 80% see where you need to cut back. Do you really need to eat out every day, does your child really NEED a new toys every payday. Could you not go to the beauty school for your hair and nails instead of the high priced salon? Do you really have to shop at the high dollar department stores, second hand stores many times sell clothes with the original price tags still on them.
Lesson 4: Win In The Margins
Always strive to improve your income and watch your costs. Reduce the money you spend. Is it necessary or is it image? Do you have to have that? Drive a more economical car and move into a smaller house with less expensive rent or mortgage. Accumulating furniture, cars, clothes and things will not create happiness, just more clutter! More stuff reduces your free attention, and you’ll have less attention left to focus on building your wealth.
Lesson 5: Give back
Feed someone, give some clothes away, you can't fit 1/3 of the clothes in your closet, you haven't worn some of your shoes in 3 years, give them away. Give away your furniture rather than sell it, someone is doing worse that you are. Would you like to live in a society where everybody has more than enough, where everybody is mostly focused on helping and supporting others?
Understand that we are not truly separate from one another; we are all depend on each other. The very things we all need the most—like fresh air, healthy food and loving hearts—are the things we most depend on others. The more we understand that this is a cooperative process and not an individual, separate one, the more we will reap the benefits from it.
Sharing your wealth and time is love made visible.
